calling 110 is free! People suppose they would charge for the use of calling 110 in some remote villages which are backwardness and poverty.110 in China is equal to 911 in American.
打110不收费，貌似偏远山区等地方的人还不知道，需要广泛宣传，应该再加一句，有困难，打110.
